Description

In this Episode of the Moms of Triathlon Podcast, Amy and Aly dive into their personal experiences with working with a triathlon specific coach. Aly shares that when she first started in triathlon she was loosely following a plan she’d been given but it wasn’t until years later that she made the transition to working with a coach one-on-one and gained an invaluable amount of knowledge that she’ll carry with her as she continues with the sport. Amy talks about the club team she was on when she first started racing triathlons in college, and how she transitioned to working with a one-on-one coach when she decided to take her triathlon career to the next level. They both share their timeline for when (and why)  they stopped working with a coach during their pregnancy and when they started back up again after their babies were born. As with most things during pregnancy they can definitely agree that the number one priority as a pregnant  athlete is to listen to your body. The episode finishes with their Go Mamas of the Week.
