In a rematch of the 2021 RWC semi-final, Canada remained competitive in the first half but the Red Roses eventually pulled away to secure a 50-24 victory. The return of the Barbarians saw them triumph over South Africa with a final score of 38-26. The Kenya Lionesses concluded their South Africa tour with a 22-17 loss to the San Clemente Rhinos. Meanwhile, the Springboks also faced the San Clemente Rhinos, emerging victorious with a 22-17 win. Additionally, the USA announced its interim coaching staff, including Milton Haig, Rich Ashfield, John Haggart, and Melodie Bosman, for the upcoming WXV tournament.

In Premier & Club news, the WPL closed out their league season with victories for Berkeley, New York, and Life West, setting up the semi-finals.
