On July 1st, 2022, the controversial Parental Rights in Education bill, or as the political left dubs it, the Don't Say Gay law, will go into effect, while progressives and human rights advocates say that this endangers LGBTQ+ youth and promotes discrimination. The conspiracists view this law as a pushback against "The Gay Agenda."  A conspiracy theory that goes back to the late 1970s when Anita Bryant launched her anti-homosexual campaign in the name of Christian morality and the protection of children. In today's episode, Nelson revisits the foundations of the Gay Agenda movement and how it has influenced the anti-gay rhetoric that currently threatens the LGBTQ+ community in Florida.
