Description

Romanian women have had an extraordinary struggle to manage their own fertility, from the soviet period of free abortion but limited contraception to the Ceausescu regimes’ prevention of both. To talk about the way in which rules under different periods have affected the health and fertility of Romanian women, we’re joined by Malcolm Potts from the Bixby Center for Population, Health and Sustainability, University of California, Berkeley, who authored the editor’s choice article.
