Both moves were big to add to the Steelers' NFL Draft capital and bring in a capable starting cornerback to replace Ahkello Witherspoon.The Claypool deal seems like a steal as the Steelers weren't going to pay Claypool a major extension, and now they get what's most likely a top 50 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Jackson adds veteran skills at cornerback to an injured room this season. Both moves seem like savvy plays by Omar Khan and Mike Tomlin.But can the Steelers compete?
