This week we cover the following topics: The CPSC has issued a recall for the original Peloton Bike seat post – free replacements are available. Peloton’s new Terms of Service mention the Tread+ again, and have new language around arbitration. Barry McCarthy, Peloton’s CEO, received a pay raise from $1 million to $1.25 million this week. There are new programs from Anna Greenberg & Andy Speer being released this month. Two more weeks worth of classes were purged last Friday. Peloton has a new artist series with Ed Sheeran, which features an interview with Ed between songs. Another artist series took place this week, featuring the music of Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Peloton had 2 new Daft Punk classes drop in celebration of the new album “Random Access Memories” Mariana Fernandez taught a new Spanish language Shakira class. Sam Yo taught a 20 min recovery ride in celebration of the Buddhist festival Vesak. Bradley Rose will teach a few classes from PSNY at the end of May. There will be a meet & greet with Benny Adami at the Berlin showroom next week. Peloton hosted a “Peloton Moms Meetup” at all US & Canadian showrooms on Wednesday. There will be several Mother’s Day classes this weekend in honor of Mother’s Day. Happy Birthday to Susie Chan this week. Aditi Shah met the Vice President this week. Emma Lovewell threw out the first pitch at the Red Sox game this weekend. Peloton was featured at the Google developer conference. Brittany Allen will compete on Project Runway this summer.
