About Diana Yousef:
 
Diana Yousef, PhD, MBA is founder and CEO of change:WATER Labs, a mission-driven cleantech venture creating disruptive technologies to expand access to clean water and safe sanitation, especially in under-resourced and vulnerable communities. Dr. Yousef founded cWL in 2015 based on inspiration she took from her work with NASA on wastewater treatment solutions for the International Space Station, the ultimate off-grid situation. In addition to her work with NASA, Dr. Yousef is a trained protein biochemist, a former McKinsey consultant, and biotech-cleantech VC, and has worked at the WorldBank/IFC and UNDP to promote innovative technologies and business models to alleviate poverty and promote sustainability. She holds degrees in Biology from Harvard (BA) and Cornell (PhD), and an MBA and MA in International Affairs (Columbia).
