The coterie decided to divide and conquer. While Doris and Evangeline made their way back to the recreation centre to gather more evidence, Val and Everett investigated the Malkavian headquarters. Val was stuck with new clan leader Sam Buttwise and was forced to apologize to him for having unlawfully detained him. Everett, meanwhile, searched Horatio’s office and quarters, and when Val finally rejoined him, they discovered a secret compartment with millions of dollar in gold bars.
