Lastly, they share their best tips for increasing engagement organically.

Karly and Kyrsten share why setting realistic expectations and understanding key KPIs (key performance indicators), paired with honesty and an open line of communication are the secrets to success in a social media manager/client relationship. They also warn business owners not to participate in any transactions where a large, unrealistic promise is guaranteed.

Karly and Kyrsten share that 2024 is the year of de-influencing, and explain why overnight growth feels like fraud to a consumer. They give advice to influencers who are tempted to ignore metrics that are important to brands and solely focus on followers, and give a real life example of a client who bought followers after their contract expired, ultimately causing harm to their account.
