The truth behind hyperemesis in pregnancy With Lindsay Salmon
One of the most debilitating and under supported areas of pregnancy has to be hyperemesis. For those who suffer this extreme, long-lasting form of pregnancy sickness it is a real struggle and support and management strategies are essential to prevent it leading to more adverse complications.
I am excited to be joined by this week’s guest, Lindsay Salmon. Lindsay is the Community & Engagement Manager at Pregnancy Sickness Support, the only charity in the UK providing support to those suffering from Nausea & Vomiting in pregnancy and Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG). As a survivor of 2 HG pregnancies, Lindsay knows first hand how debilitating and miserable the condition can be and she is passionate about raising awareness of HG and improving care for sufferers.
