Description

The legendary story of Freddie Mercury and of Queen.
Original Review:
Music has the power to transform and transport us to the furthest reaches of our imagination. Only it's not just about the lyrics or the melody, it's also about who is performing the song. Certain performances can completely alter how the music is heard and understood. Freddie Mercury was one of those artists, but he didn't do it alone. He had a passion for the music but didn't have the ability to bring that to life until he met the other members that would become QUEEN. Though, as powerful as they were on stage, their lives behind the scenes were not as flamboyant as they seemed. Each of them lived their lives to the best of their abilities. Some pursued families, others pursued passions. After everything, they were still a family. Their music would change the world and open doors to new opportunities and information for individuals around the world. They were controversial, they were extraordinary, they were timeless... This story may not be the Freddie Mercury biopic that fans may have been hoping for, but what it presents is Queen's journey to stardom. It is definitely much more of a Queen biopic than a Freddie one. Some of the timeline is a bit off but that doesn't distract from the story that is told. If you've ever been a fan of Queen's music, then this is an absolute experience that demands your attention.
