Description

The Hangover: Special Episode with Harvest Series Co-Founders Burak Öymen and Roman CarelThis episode is a very special one. Burak Öymen and Roman Carel, the co-founders of Harvest Series, showed up at the villa where the podcast is taking place right after the conclusion of the Harvest Series summit. Initially, the two friends were supposed to simply debrief out loud about their experience during this 8th season and share their vision for the future of Harvest. However, they surprised the host, Rose Claverie, by transforming themselves into skilled interviewers to delve deeper into the podcast itself and Rose’s journey! This episode, titled "The Hangover," isn't named because the trio is struggling to function on a Sunday morning, but rather to highlight the friendly and relaxed nature of their discussion, showing that personal development and growth can be laid-back. Join us for this unique and insightful conversation!Episode Notes:[2:07] Burak and Roman share how the party went the day before, the last party after the end of the Harvest summit, and reflect on all the hard work.[3:24] Burak explains why the Harvest summit is unique and in a category of its own.[4:45] Roman attributes the success of the event largely to its location in Kaplankaya, Turkey.[7:00] Roman and Burak decide to interview me about my journey with the Harvest Series podcast! This is a real surprise from these two! Roman asks what my most moving moments were while recording this 8th season.[9:00] I cannot fail to mention the team: my dear Joel, who edits the podcast with me all year long with all his heart; Kerem, who filmed this year with a big smile on his face all day long, and the amazing Neil, the communication director of Harvest, who orchestrated this episode.[13:20] My old friend Roman asks about my journey since the first episode I recorded. I share an embarrassing moment with Dr. Gabor Maté.[16:35] I try to regain control! I ask what the next chapter for Harvest will be. They reveal the theme of the next Harvest Summit, which will focus on Courage. They discuss whether to use the word "Radical" in front of courage and seem to decide to drop it. They share that they are already thinking about next year.[21:39] Roman teases Burak about his dancing skills.[22:30] We delve deeper into the importance of Harvest in Burak and Roman's lives.[27:50] Harvest of the Day for Season 8: What moment did they feel radically connected as children?Join us for an episode full of surprises, insights, and heartfelt discussions! You can follow us on Instagram : @Harvestseries, or @rose.claverie for updatesand watch our filmed podcast or speakers on Youtube : Harvest Series.Sound editing by @lesbellesfrequencesTechnicians in Kaplankaya : Joel Moriasi, Hanan Yasir and teamMusic by ChambordArtwork : Davide d'AntonioHarvest Series is produced in partnership with Athena Advisers and Capital PartnersThe founders of Harvest Series are Burak Öymen and Roman Carel.
