Description

The plaintiff says her former roommate was a nightmare to live with, and she’s suing him for unpaid utility bills. The defendant argues that he and his roommate had an agreement that guests couldn’t stay for four consecutive days, and she broke that rule. The defendant also claims he was overcharged for rent, so now he’s countersuing.
Then, the plaintiff says she hired the defendant to take her daughter’s wedding guests to and from a hotel via limo. Minutes before the plaintiff was supposed to walk down the aisle with her daughter, 14 of her guests weren’t there because the defendant forgot to pick them up. Now she’s suing. The defendant argues that he was never told he was supposed to pick up guests from the hotel.
Plus, the plaintiff says she moved from Pittsburgh to New York and rented an apartment from the defendant. She claims the place was a disaster and should have been condemned for mold, bare sockets, and more. The defendant won’t return her money, so she’s suing. The defendant says the plaintiff and her daughter drove to New York, saw the place, and loved it. She claims the plaintiff is a loon who broke the lease, so she’s entitled to keep the money.
