Description

In a recent American Cancer Society publication, there are increasing data that rates of colorectal cancer are rising rapidly among people in their 20s, 30s and 40s. This has certainly caught the attention of the lay press, most recently in a widely circulated New York Times article published in March 2024. Today, we welcome Dr. Chris Cann, who is an Assistant Professor of Hematology/Oncology at the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia where he focuses on GI oncology and has a particular area of interest in early onset colorectal cancer. In his short career thus far, Dr. Cann is already making a name for himself in this space on a national level and so we are so glad he was able to join us for this special discussion. Dr. Cann sheds light on what we know and what we don’t know about this phenomenon. Definitely an episode to check out!** Want to review the show notes for this episode and others?
