Heat and humidity continue into the weekend before a cold front arrives late Saunday with showers and thunderstorms. This should break the heatwave for a few days. Tropical Storm Alberto ia inland in Mexico producing some heavy rains in parts of Southern Texas. Two other systems are being watched by the National Hurricane Center.
