Description
During the 19th century, jails in any country were places that many people went to die because of the poor conditions. Kilmainham Gaol was no different. The history of Kilmainham Gaol spans over two centuries and holds a place in the annals of Ireland's fight for independence. Today, this immense structure still stands and runs as a museum relaying the stories of hundreds of prisoners who included notable revolutionaries and common men, women and yes, children. And now it seems to be home for the spirits of several of these former occupants. Join us for the history and hauntings of Dublin's Kilmainham Gaol!
