Cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer in women globally. It causes more than 800 deaths in the UK each year. Yet 99.8% of cervical cancer cases are entirely preventable. Regular screening and the introduction of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination are helping to reduce the number of deaths.
