The Miami Marlins scored twice in the seventh inning to break a 1-1 tie and beat the Philadelphia Phillies 3-2 on Saturday in Philadelphia. Jazz Chisholm Jr.'s single broke the tie, giving Miami the lead after Nick Fortes' RBI double tied it up at two apiece. Nick Gordon had homered earlier in the game for Miami, his eighth of the season and one of his two hits on the day. Otto Lopez also had two hits for the Fish. The Marlins bullpen was sensational again, with Andrew Nardi, A.J. Puk, Calvin Faucher and Tanner Scott backing up Roddery Munoz with 4 1/3 scoreless innings of work. Nardi got the win, hist first of the season, and Scott pitched a perfect ninth to pick up the save, his 12th. Garrett Stubbs homered for the Phillies, and Bryson Stott had two hits, as they struggled without Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber, both of whom were hurt in the series opener on Friday. Aaron Nola took the loss. He gave up three runs in 6 ⅔ innings on six hits, striking out nine and walking none. The Marlins (30-53) won two out of three games in the four-game series against the National League East-leading Phils.
