In this episode, it's our second birth! With a presumed dead Levi, Friedrich swoops in to save Stella by putting her in a bath (sure, makes sense) while he contemplates their love. We learn not only Friedrich's exact role via flashback with Rosemarie, but we also get more concrete answers on what Gilbert's role always was. Speaking of Gilbert, he's worried that Stella & Levi haven't returned from their date, only to go searching the grounds to find Levi's body with almost all his blood drained! He undergoes a quick identity crisis, and the fate of Levi literally lies in Gilbert's hands...
