Description

Hey there fellow dog lover!

So I was in Pet Valu the other week when an already nervous/anxious dog working on "socialization" reacted (negatively) to a little puppy who came into the store.
The chaos and barking caught my attention and before I could get around the isle to see what was going on, both owners (and the staff at Pet Valu) were all saying "It's okay, you're okay!"
The puppy owner was petting her pup and saying it.
The anxious dog owner was saying it.
The employee at the cash register was saying it.
And as I watched, I thought... Nothing about this is okay.
This incident inspired this week's episode on the podcast. :-)
Learn why I do not like the phrase "It's Okay!"
and what you should say instead.
Also, in this episode,
I discuss when I would turn my back on a threat, and when I wouldn't.
There is lots of great tactical stuff in this episode~

Let me know what you think!

Talk to you next week!

Cheers
Tracy
