Description
Dr. Huntley shares the roundtable discussion about Alzheimer’s disease and brain health. We are grateful to be joined by Community Research Specialist, Judeline Casimir, MPH, and Community-Engaged Research Consultant, Dr. Joyee Washington, PhD, MS, MPH. To begin, Dr. Huntley and her guests each detail how they are driving Alzheimer’s and brain health conversations in the communities they serve. Then, we explore the importance of including caregivers in the conversation before learning about the Mama Joe Project. We also discuss the value of keen observation and proactivity amidst initial warning signs, and the need for country-wide improvement on the advocacy of issues relating to brain health.
