Description

Talk about a power couple! Today our guests are the wife and husband duo Sara and Kyle Wester. They’re both Licensed Professional Counselors and founders of the Art of Raising Humans Podcast and Private Practice. They work with families all over the world through training and one-on-one coaching to help support and equip them to raise children who are self-controlled, respectful, and kind. And did we mention they are also the proud parents to 3 kids: Abby 14, Brennan 1, and Ellie 8?! Like we said, power couple!

We will be digging into real experiences they’ve had as parents and discussing the way our kids can challenge us at every age and stage of their lives. Sara and Kyle will also be sharing their expertise for approaching these challenging conversations - whether it’s difficult subject matter or just hard to reason with a three-year-old - in a way that respects your child and helps them develop into a big person who has control of their emotions (and we all KNOW the world needs more of that). If you work with kids, are raising them, or somewhere in between this episode is going to be FULL of practical information you can start using right away!

Feeling overwhelmed as a mom? Tired of doing everything for your kids and wish… just wish… someone would step in to help you out? Welcome to the No Guilt Mom parenting podcast hosted by author, teacher & parenting coach JoAnn Crohn, M.Ed and co-host parenting coach & educator, Brie Tucker. Every Tuesday, we give you practical advice for moms and positive parenting tips - all without the shame and guilt. We make it fun. We’re from a generation where our moms were supposed to be able to do it all. They went to work and yet were still expected to take care of the house and kids. Our moms put everything extra they had into us kids and we realize there is a better way. The way to give your kids your best is to give yourself the very best - without the mom guilt. How to master positive parenting without doing absolutely everything. That means focusing on what you like to do. If you don’t like playing LEGO’s on the floor with your kids, you don’t have, too. In my parents’ generation, moms gave up everything for their kids and I don’t want to do that. Kids who learn how to be self-sufficient are happier kids and have happier moms. Welcome to the No Guilt Mom podcast!
