It is tracking west northwest and aiming for Jamaica Wednesday and eventually will make its way to the Southwest Gulf of Mexico late this week. Dry warm summer weather covers much of the Eastern US and that will give way to heat and humidity as we head for the 4th of July. Severe weather & heavy rain continues over portions of the Middle and Upper Mississippi Valley as low pressure and a cold front move slowly east.
