About this series

Fleeing from the Oasian military, the cyborg Mission, Dr Naomi Vaugh, ex-police officer Sapphire Stone and actor Alex Lavelle finally arrive on the east coast. They are soon drawn into the battle with Lucrezia’s Army, now many thousands strong and growing all the while.
In order to defeat such a juggernaut they are going to need help from someone immune to the evil priestess’ phenomenal mental powers. But who is left with the ability to stand up to her?
Aid comes from a mysterious, secret realm known as the Backup Sector. They have been watching Lucrezia and her Derros for years. But even these individuals have their problems, suffering from a mysterious virus that is slowly picking them off, one by one.
And to make matters worse, a dark foe has followed Mission and his team from the Oasis, and nothing will stop him from fulfilling his purpose.

- Mission: Flight To Mars
Bob Astor is a Quality Assurance agent working at Vartan Inc. Lately his days have been stressful, to say the least. Butting heads with upper management has put his career on life support. A surprising change in circumstance has Bob going on a business mission to the moon city, Langrenus. On the way, he meets one of the delegates on board the Starbird, a desperate man with a dark past and a very dangerous secret. Through a mysterious series of events Bob finds himself in the middle of an interplanetary crises that no one knows about. These secrets could change - or destroy - all human life on Earth. The key to the answer of the crises is on the Red Planet, Mars. It's up to Bob, the burnt-out Q. A. agent to rise to the occasion and stem the dangerous tide coming from beyond the solar system.
- Mission: Lights of Langrenus
Something is rotten in Langrenus. Or technically, north of the city. Bob has settled down into work and family life but beneath the surface things have changed. He's a secret agent now, building a budding network of people searching for the alien shadow groups on Earth and working to stop the coming alien invasion from beyond the solar system. But for now, all of that is far away. The Boss, the mysterious head of Vartan, Inc. sends Bob to the moon city of Langrenus to investigate the Transient Lunar Phenomenon, which has changed pattern and intensity over recent years. No one knows why. At first, Bob suspects he's been sent on a fluff mission. But the more he investigates, the more questions are raised in his mind as to what is really going on. The heart of the problem lies within the lunar mining communities and the increased frequency of the beautiful lunar lights are the result of something far more sinister than Bob ever imagined.
- Mission: Attack on Europa
The affair on Langrenus now settled, Bob plans to return home. But an urgent cry for help from an old friend interrupts his homecoming. The Big Boss sends him a fleet of newly built fighter ships, seemingly just in time for this new and unexpected mission. Bob brings along a new ally, enlisting him in his growing little band of U-net agents. The new guy is James Jenkins, a.k.a Diamond Dog, a young, hot-shot pilot with smuggling connections and as soon as they set foot on Mars trouble blows up in their faces. A new city is being built and there will be a final gathering of the Allied Martian Powers. They've been planning their long-awaited and perilous mission – to destroy the loyalist alien military base on Europa. Bob and Diamond bring along much needed help to the cause, more than willing to rally to the side of the Alliance of Martian Powers but Bob finds that things are changing faster than he can keep up with and his experience in Langrenus haunts him in more ways than one. On Mars, alliances between humans and aliens are complex, tenuous things and Bob finds that even relationships with one's allies can be uneasy.
- Mission: Harbeasts of Mars
Crash landing! After a rowdy victory celebration following the battle of Europa, Bob goes for a stargazing trip out in the desert and wrecks his speeder. Stranded, he soon finds that he isn't alone. Harbeasts, the savage, fearsome, genetically engineered predators that roam the Martian deserts are hot on his trail! With no water, no food, limited air supply, no working vehicle and the nearest way-station days away, Bob finds himself in a dogged fight for survival. Unfortunately, Bob soon finds that the harbeasts aren't the only predators out to get him!
- Mission: Blackguard Conspiracy
The Dark Energy Project, started by a group of far thinking engineers, scientists and programmers many years ago has come roaring back like a storm! Meant to catapult human exploration and civilization out to the farthest reaches of space, it centered around the groundbreaking information on how to build working stargates. Except, the information was stolen and its founders and all other humans attached to the project killed by alien loyalists. Thereafter, it was renamed The Blackguard Project, the linchpin of the entire drama between humans, alien rebels and the alien loyalists. It's a shortcut for the aliens in the approaching Black Fleet who abandoned their dying planet and are heading to the solar system to invade Earth and wipe out humanity. Bob receives a copy of the Blackguard files by The Boss with a new mission: stop the inaugural activation of the new stargate at the annual Sci-Tech Convention. To most people, this is a momentous year in the history of science and space exploration. However, Bob and his U-net band know that this gate is a Trojan Horse! It must be stopped and the aliens behind this sinister plan exposed, no matter the cost.
- Mission: A Venus Affair
Bob and his family are going on a much-needed vacation towards the hottest destination in the solar system: Vepaja City, Venus! But as soon as he reaches Venus someone from his past makes an inconvenient request: make a secret deal that promises to benefit Bob, U-net and the Boss. Who is this mysterious character? Does this person really care about helping him or is there a darker agenda? Is this side mission really in Bob's best interest? If he agrees to the deal U-net could reap an advantage in the coming war. But is this mission legitimate or is it a trap?
- The Poisoned Oasis
A mysterious killer is stalking the streets of the Oasis, and detectives Sapphire Stone and her partner Andy are assigned to the case. It doesn’t take them long to figure out that the killer is not human, but a rogue robot. Meanwhile, famous soap-star Alex Lavelle is fighting his own battle against a fanatical stalker, and has bought a robot bodyguard to protect him. When Sapphire reveals to her superiors that the killer is actually a machine, the army take over. But to catch their quarry will require superhuman effort. Fortunately the army has access to some superhumans. Before departing the Oasis, Dr Grayson’s assistant Dragan Vesnic froze the Lazarus cyborgs – and the doctor’s own son, Raphael “Mission” Grayson. With the help of Dr Naomi Vaughan, the cyborgs are brought back to life. But they refuse to cooperate, and Mission is woken as a last result. However he is a grudging recruit, and only Naomi can keep him in line. Sapphire joins Naomi, Mission and the army to track down the killer and Alex Lavelle, who has disappeared. They will need all the help they can to stop this menace before his killing-spree escalates.
- Dicing with the Universe
In the dystopian future of 2178, cyborg soldier Mission is sent to undertake a special job – a journey into the past to assassinate the source of a dangerous temporal anomaly threatening to disrupt all of time and space. Meanwhile, in the present day, Patrick Baker is starting year eleven and finally realising that he will never be as strong, handsome or smart as he thought he would be. His increasingly elaborate lies have made him a target for bullies and thugs. He believes there is no hope he meets a girl named Sam and a freak accident at the local skating rink unlocks his true mental potential. Paddy Baker discovers that he’s actually a genius. But before Paddy can start enjoying his new acuity, the cyborg Mission arrives to kill him. Paddy, his mother Emily, her strange cockney friend Linnet and Paddy’s girlfriend Sam find themselves drawn into the strangest adventure yet; spanning three different time-periods and journeying across the post-apocalyptic landscape of Australia 2178 to the Oasis, an artificial paradise on the shores of a new inland sea. They must confront the evil mad scientist responsible for the creation of time travel. But Dr Douglas Grayson runs "the Sire", a powerful scientific organisation, and knows they are coming for him. He is lying in wait with more soldiers, cybernetic assassins – and his fully functional time-machine.
