An eighth title in the popular Bridesmaids series aimed at 6 – 8 year old girls, but not excluding the boys!
Buffy is always playing tricks on her friends and trying to make them jump. She has a wicked streak in her. She’s been asked to be a bridemaid at a wedding where the bride and groom have an equally weird sense of humour – they dress in gothic style, so Buffy has to too! However, for a girl who loves scaring other people Buffy is easily scared herself when something spooks her in the churchyard. It turns out to be her friends, getting their own back!

The Posh Bridesmaid When Morag is invited to be a bridesmaid , she is asked to dress in a ‘Little Bo Peep’ outfit – complete with shepherd’s crook, basket and bonnet. The wedding is in a castle in Scotland, with a marquee in the garden for the reception. But the idyllic day, turns to near ruin as a flock of sheep rampage through the marquee… and Morag finds her shepherd’s crook comes in use, after all!

A mini-series of four titles aimed at 6 – 8 year old girls on the theme of bridesmaids – a role that every little girl longs to play! THE SUNNY BRIDESMAID Molly’s brother James is marrying Chloe, an Australian girl, on a tropical beach. A laid back bride, Chloe has told Molly she can choose her own dress. Molly’s choice of dress is not ideal for a hot climate, however she makes such fuss, her Mum lets her have it. However when she gets to Australia – shock, horror, her luggage has been mislaid so she and Chloe have to buy her a new outfit – a sarong and skimpy top, perfect for a hot beach wedding. James is football mad and after the wedding he celebrates by a game of footie on the beach. Unfortunately he gets sun-stroke leaving his bride dancing the night away with her favourite sunny bridesmaid!
- The Baby Bridesmaid
A mini-series of four titles aimed at 6 – 8 year old girls on the theme of bridesmaids – a role that every little girl longs to play! THE BABY BRIDESMAID Ella’s bridesmaid’s role is usurped by her baby sister Gemma who dresses up and steals the show at her auntie’s West Indian wedding in Notting Hill. When the photographs are to be taken, no-one can fine Ella’s baby sister. Then the floats start to parade and who should be the fairy queen – Ella’s sister of course, in starring role!
- The Sporty Bridesmaid
A fifth title in the popular Bridesmaids series, aimed at 6 – 8 year old girls [but not including the boys, of course!] Jess is a talented young athlete. When her athletics teacher asks her to be a bridesmaid at their wedding, she jumps at the chance! But this is a wedding with a difference – the bride and groom are to run in a marathon and Jess has to run part of the way with them! But when a traffic jam threatens to stop her getting to the reception, she puts on her trainers again and jogs all the way there! [The young model on the cover of this title – Ruwa Murapa-Foster – is herself a buddling gymnast and was about to be in her Hertfordshire regional finals a couple of days after the photo shoot!]
- The Naughty Bridesmaid
A seventh title in the popular Bridesmaids series aimed at 6 – 8 year old girls, but not excluding the boys! Sophie looks as if butter wouldn’t melt in her mouth. She was going to make the perfect bridesmaid. But Sophie has a new puppy and she is determined not to leave him behind when she goes to the wedding. It’s a good job she has a big basket of flowers – just big enough, in fact, to hide a little puppy. But keeping the puppy in the basket for the whole of the wedding proves impossible !

Milly’s brother is getting married to a girl in England and Milly is coming over with him to be bridesmaid. When she sees her outfit – red velvet and furry accessories, she thinks she’s in some kind of a time warp! After all, she’s a trendy little Australian miss! But when the snow starts to fall, the roads are blocked and she has to get to the wedding on a sledge she soon changes her mind. Now she thinks she’s in the middle of a fairy-tale!

A mini-series of titles aimed at 6 – 8 year old girls on the theme of bridesmaids – a role that every little girl longs to play! The Grumpy Bridesmaid Izzy is fed up. Her sister is getting married on the same day as her pony club Gymkhana. The day she was supposed to ride Crackers in the Chase Me Charlie Competition. Not even being a bridesmaid can cheer her up until her sister announces she wants a horse and carriage to take her to the wedding. Izzy comes to the rescue when Crackers refuses to budge at a traffic light and she has to don riding hat and ridge him to the church – in her bridesmaid dress!

Diane Redmond
Diane was born and educated in Lancashire. Her interest in children's books began when she used them to teach English in language schools in Italy.She returned to live in Cambridge, where she taught multi-cultural education before working as a radio and TV presenter.Diane has also been involved in script writing for TV and the stage. She was asked to write The Journey of Odysseus for a Children's Theatre, which gave her the inspiration to delve deeper into the world of the Ancient Greeks.
