      The rumblings of war in distant countries mattered little to Danny McClain. But this much he knew: he would spend a lifetime helping to make her whole again. The war had taken everything from Anya-her family, her friends, her home, her faith.       This was the third in the series and although it was a bit sappy it was a lovely read. I love the Christian aspect to the book as well. It’s a good bread from the other heavier historical fictions books I read often
